Pinterest is a social network that allows users
to visually share, and discover new interests. It is done with posting images or videos to their own or others’
boards and browsing what other users have pinned.
Thanks to Pinterest we can learn someone’s lifestyle, hobbies, etc. It is also used
for ideas of styling, decorating, art, movies, series, etc. There are 3 things you need to know about Pinterest.
* As you discover Pins you love, click the red ‘Save’ button to save them to your boards.
* As you discover Pins you love, click the red ‘Save’ button to save them to your boards.
* The Pins you save live on your boards. You
can name your boards and arrange
them on your profile however you want.
* You can find all the Pins you save, boards you
create, and Pins you try in your
profile. You can also see who’s
following you and the
boards, topics, and people you follow. Anyone can see your profile, but your
secret boards will stay hidden.
As you can see from that picture I have a board that contains the thing that I love such as movies, tattoos.
Also, it can be used for education as well.
Since the human brain’s visual skills are stronger than verbal skills. With Pinterest,
the things that we learn, we see from Pinterest are more catchy. For example, a
teacher can ask students to create a board. Students can use it as a
journal or collection of their projects. That way, students can see their
boards and get help from each other.
As you can see from that picture I have a board that contains educational pins. Thanks to this board I have better ideas about what I do in my classroom.
