HOT POTATOES 

   Hot Potatoes is a freeware for creating quizzes. It is a program that allows you to make six different types of self-test exercises. These exercises can also quite easily be imported into an LMS like Moodle to be used for the assessment of learning content. These are different applications for creating multiple-choice and short-answer questions (JQuiz), matching exercises (JMatch), ordering exercises (JMix), crossword (JCross) and gap-fill exercises (JCloze). Thanks to Hot Potatoes teachers can construct quizzes by using tools. Quizzes created with HotPot can be imported into the iCorsi3 platform.

   
 

    Hot Potatoes was originally meant to create language exercises, and some HotPot exercises have little use otherwise. However, most exercises can be used for any subject.
